Uphill Both Ways

I’ve decided I really love Andrew Bird this week. I’m not convinced this is the best song on Noble Beast, but it’s my current favorite, and encompasses the overall feel of the record. More importantly, it communicates the feeling I get from this album—that it’s simultaneously completely novel, but as familiar to me as one of my parents’ old LPs.
